Basic Policy
Windstar Charters maintains a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY. NO ILLEGAL DRUGS PERMITTED. These are grounds for immediate termination of the trip, without refund. Additionally, All incidents will be reported to the U.S. Coast Guard as required by law.If you are required to take prescribed medications, (including seasickness), please bring all medications with you. We are not allowed to dispense any medications. For seasickness prevention we recommend taking either Bonine or Dramamine 12 hours prior to departure and again 15 minutes before leaving the dock.
NO FIREARMS OR FIREWORKS permitted on board. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Beer is permitted in moderation, however no hard liquor is allowed. The Captain reserves the right to terminate the trip at any time, without refund, due to intoxication.
All fish taken aboard Windstar will meet all Federal, State, and Local laws with regards to season, size, and catch limits. All others are to be released. These rules are strictly enforced. There will be no exceptions. All kept fish are the property of the passengers.
There is a six passenger maximum limit.
Things to Remember
Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the agreed departure time.Bait, ice, and tackle are provided for you. Of course you may bring your own rod(s) if you prefer. Passengers are responsible for all equipment either lost or broken due to negligence. Lost hooks, sinkers, or rigs are provided at no extra cost.
Food and beverages are the sole responsibilty of the passengers. Please remember to bring all beverages in either pastic or aluminum containers. Please leave extra coolers with your car as we want to maintain a level of safety and comfort in the fishing area. We will be happy to supply ice and plastic bags to take your catch home with you.
Dress accordingly for the conditions. Bring a hat, jacket, shirt, sweatshirt, sunglasses and sun screen. We also recommend sneakers, boat shoes, or rubber soled fishing boots... Please, NO BLACK SOLED SHOES on board. You might also want to consider rain gear for any time of the year.
